We have a long history and extensive experience in the provision of industrial corrosion-protection solutions.

We started operations in 1925 under the name Oy Sul-Mu Ab. In the early decades of operation, the company manufactured fire- and corrosion-resistant masonry and mortar.

In the 1950s, the company began to manufacture corrosion-resistant products from glass-reinforced plastic, including pipes, tanks, hoods, flue gas absorbers, and flues. In a short time, Sul-Mu became one of Europe's leading companies in the field.

In the 1980s, Sul-Mu was transferred to the ownership of Neste and KWH-Pipe, with operations expanding and becoming more international.

Since 1996, the company has been privately owned, with the exception of the period between 2012 and 2013, when it was part of the Plasticon group.

Today, Sulmu is more experienced, agile, and flexible than ever before.
